Vintage Gordon Giltrap VE3000MGG Natural Satin Electro Acoustic Guitar

This is a Vintage Gordon Giltrap VE3000MGG Electro Acoustic Guitar in Natural Satin finish. This guitar is a particularly special Gordon Giltrap model as it was made in memory of Gordon’s Son, DJ Tango Jamie Giltrap. Made in China, this guitar consists of an all-Mahogany body, a Mahogany neck, and a 20-fret Ebony fingerboard. Other appointments include Gold Grover tuners, an Ebony bridge, and a Fishman Neo-D Humbucking Soundhole Pickup.

The Mahogany neck has a profile that could be described as a ‘C’ shape. The satin finish is made for fluid transitions while the ebony fingerboard is pleasant to touch. The medium frets and 12” radius provide a robust and smooth playing experience all across the fingerboard, and enhance string bending and vibrato techniques. This unique guitar features a body shape that makes it stand out from the competition as a new, fresh take on the acoustic guitar, giving the guitar some more low end from its larger bottom half.
