Taylor Gold Label 814e Electro-Acoustic - Description

Born with an old soul. Introducing the Taylor Gold Label 814e, new for 2025.

With a new body design, a new neck joint, new bracing, and new aesthetics, Taylor’s Gold Label Collection showcases a stunning sound with old heritage that’s different from anything Taylor has ever produced — closer to flattop guitars from the 1930s and 1940s.

The result is a sound with stunning warmth and richness, complemented by remarkable power and clarity even with the most aggressive attack. A new long-tenon neck joint improves sound transfer for greater resonance while providing even easier and more precise adjustability, so you can dial in the feel you need to play your best.

A suite of Continental inlays, carved ivoroid bricks, a new pickguard, antique chrome Gotoh 510 tuners with ebony buttons, and a full-body gloss round out the package. This model includes LR Baggs Element VTC electronics with discreet soundhole adjustments that ensure a warm, rich sound whenever you need to plug in. The Gold Label 814e SB ships with a Deluxe hardshell case with a stylish British cocoa exterior.
